This one is going to be very short and very simple. A lot of shows on the Big Four (CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox) are guilty of using false marketing tactics to misdirect people about the next episode of a show, whether it is new or old. One such example can be found above with the new show from NBC called The Player, where no narrative structure even exists to convince an audience that Cassandra might shoot Alex Kane.
This may be a minor thing, but it gets to be really funny (and stupid) when you consider that cable shows don’t have to do this in order to get people excited about the next story. They just create a video and move onto the next show.
Don’t follow the example above. Do create something that is unique to the show. That is all.
